Advantages:
More and more Ethernet is being used in industry. Several
protocols based on Ethernet are available: ISO (H1), ISO
on TCP (RFC1006), Modbus on TCP, EtherNet/IP or AB Ethernet.
Although these protocols are similar, communication between
the corresponding networks is not that simple: Echochange
provides the solution: This produces "relationships"
between plants that were previously imcompatible.
